July Product of the Month - Part 2

I am back to give you a look at the fabulous projects from Michele & Virginia.  Just as a reminder - July's Product of the Month is Your Next Stamp.  For the entire month, they are 15% off.

Featuring My Next Stamp; I have to say that I'm impressed. The thick edges and the quality of the rubber make this stamp so easy to use; you just cannot miss your shot!!

Stamp: Your Next Stamp - Ginger Giraffe
Paper: Bo Bunny Zoology Collection
Inks: Black Memento and Copics
Other: inchie chipboards, thin sheet magnet, 3 coats of acrylic sealant

This is very easy to do. The only thing you have to be careful with is in placing your magnets before you glue them. How do I explain this? You know, depending on where the positive and negative pull energy is. Try placing 2 pieces of magnet together... You'll see that they decide where they will hold best, you don't. See what I mean?

So you colour your 2 stamped images first, then prep them for the final product. You can just cut them square and make a matching frame to not only look nice but also to thicken your piece. You can get as fancy as you want with the papers, I used a large oval Spellbinder for this one.

After this, you are ready to glue the magnet sheeting. This is where it gets a bit tricky. I suggest you do the back larger piece first, and glue the back magnet to it.

Then you glue one-inch magnet pieces separately (one for each) on your 3 (or more) square chipboards. Then place the chipboard pieces onto your background image BEFORE YOU GLUE the second image portions onto the chipboards (you will see why as you do this...) and only then can you carefully glue the top little images onto the chipboards, being careful in which direction you glue them (not to lose the magnet pull).

If you miss your shot, just peel off the one you accidentaly glued the wrong way and colour another image to replace it. Because after all, you can stamp it as many times as you want!!! Yippie! No big deal, eh?
