QuicKutz Korner is back!
This month I am playing with the newest Quickutz Cookie Cutters-Nesting Flowers.
These flowers are fabulous with 4 different sizes to play with and many ways to use them to pretty up your projects.
For my first project I created a layout called My Girl.
I crumpled up each flower for dimension and then layered them. Adding pop dots gave them more of a popped look
For this next layout I wanted a soft, baby girl effect so I framed the smaller pics with the flowers. I also used 1 flower for my journaling block and added a few flowers under the title.
Don't forget cards!
This card was a lot of fun to create.
I popped up my image on layered flowers. I also added flowers around the card. I then added 2 flowers on the inside of the card for writing. Adding little pearls to some of the petals completed the pretty look of the flowers.
These flowers are so versatile and the ideas for using them are endless.
-Glue them together to make a border on your pages
-Emboss them
-Curl the edges of each flower for that ‘real’ flower look
-Distress the edges and ink for that weathered look
-Use them as frames
-Layer each side (pop them up with pop dots), put a hole in the top, add some ribbon and hang them. Makes a very pretty ornament.
-Use the largest die to make a mini album.
Ok, Ive given you some ideas, now run with it and create beautiful projects.
Make sure you upload them on the Turtle Soup gallery and post a link here on the Blog so we can all see them and for a chance to win some goodies!
These fabulous dies are on sale at Scrapping Turtle for the month of July for 15% off.
Hurry and get them, they wont last long!

June Product Highlight - Dress It Up Buttons
Vicki - Oh my these buttons are cute. I had to promise to share them with Sid. (hmmm...may have to get some for Sid's birthday party). I used the ice cream, pinwheel and flower Dress it up Buttons on this layout. They are nice and flat on the back so they are easy to glue down.
Heather - I used the Tool Time buttons to accent my Father's Day layout. These buttons are so cute that not only will I be picking up a few more packages, I'll probably get some more Tool Time ones too.
Shelley -
Tanya - I decided to make a few cards with mine. I received the baby girl buttons - too cute and super fast way to dress up a card.
