I cannot believe that February is here already! It totally came out of nowhere. Don't get me wrong, I am ready for time to go by so Spring can get here because I am not liking this cold. But, seriously, I think sometimes life is passing me by!!
Anyway, to the point for the day, a new month brings a new round of sneak peeks from the DT. But of course before I get to that I have to introduce our fabulous diva of a Guest Design Team member for this month. Please join me is giving a big Turtle welcome to RIA JENKINS!!
Hello, I am pleased to be your Guest Designer for this month. I am Ria, aka Ayrhead, on the forum. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Dave, for 17 years and we have three fabulous children. Laura 14, Amanda 12, and Daniel 9 and a 5 yr old Golden Doodle named Dalwhinnie (how she got her name is another story)
I have always been fascinated with photos and the stories behind those photos, as I child I would spend hours going through boxes and albums of old photos. I loved looking at the faces, and wondering about the stories behind those faces. When I was introduced to scrapbooking at a home party when Amanda was a baby, I knew I found a perfect outlet. I was instantly hooked, and over the years have seen my style evolve and I am stilling learning to scrap outside of my shell. And now, let's check out what the team did this month. This month it was all about the Piggy Tales!!
Anne Marie - Ok so here is Piggy Tales!!! Super cute line.....
Simple Simon Collection. I used the self adhesive chipboard, rub ons, AC glitter cardstock, stamps and arrow Quickutz die!
Marissa - So this month I get
Row Row Your Boat with self adhesive chipboard and rub-ons. Yeah, I know, the rub on challenged girl gets rub-ons. To add to that Denise gave me more rub-ons from the same line. These rub-ons were way to easy to use. They were like cutting soft butter with a warm knife. Way too easy!
Heather - This month I am working with the adorable
5 Little Ducks line. What a fun line!!!! The papers are fabulous and there are great rub ons and adhesive chipboard pieces to coordinate with it.
Tracey - I am playing with the super cute
Row Row Your Boat collection from Piggy Tales. The colours in this are fabulous!
Mellissa - This month I am playing and creating with the
5 Little Ducks collection This paper line is just toooooo cute. Although it is mainly a cute child's line, there are a few sheets for the big kids also.
Ria - I was given the sweet Simple Simon line. I also used 3L Adhesive, Gazebo QK font, Kaiser Craft bling, Threading Water punch from Fiskars, Bazzil cardstock, and Stickles in Icicle.
Don't forget to stop by the forum on February 15th for the full reveal.
